before AO3, where were star wars writers posting their fics? lj comms? message boards? geocities?

i know that there were han/luke zines bc of the public backlash against that pair. have any of those been uploaded?

i'd like to merge the new kids with the old guard and hopefully find some good stories that i havent seen yet.
