Re: As Long as It's You 11/?

A/N: I kind of forgot where this page was. Oops.

Anakin knows he should have hired someone who was less attractive to join their crew. Lulu was smart, flirty, oddly sweet and adored starting brawls. He never thought Alecew would be drawn to her or she would even notice him. Not because Anakin didn't think Alecew was handsome--he was painfully aware of how good looking his friend was--he just didn't think their personalities meshed.

Lulu cursed enough to make a pirate blush when she was in the middle of a gun fight that wasn't going her way. She shamelessly flirted with nearly everyone while still maintaining an air of being unattainable. This was a teen one year Alecew's senior that seemed too wild for the mostly reserved boy. Yet they had somehow caught each other's eye. The girl that could out gun any life form in the Outer Rim without being strong in the force actually blushed at a compliment from Alecew. His life was utter nonsense and madness.

"What can I say? It's not often you come across a guy like him." She had responded with a shrug when he asked.

"I suppose that's true." Hundreds of years later won't change the fact Kenobi was still one of a kind.

Lulu gave an unlady like snort at his response. "Oh that's how you want to play it? He might not see it but don't think I don't."

Anakin glared at her trying to pick out flaws in the girl he previous liked enough to hand pick. She was chosen to fly their ship for speedy pick ups when they needed a quick escape. His ship was important to him and he had chosen carefully. At least he thought he had. Glaring at her neon orange highlighted hair his eyes narrowed "Is that so?"

"Look, I don't know how much of this Jedi stuff I buy but I know when someone's got it bad. You kind of have to pick up on these things when you work with hormonal bounty hunters. I don't believe in keeping feelings in. You wanted a straight shooter? Well you got one." Grinning at her own pun she mimed a gun with her fingers and winked at him. "So let's deal with the facts. I like Alecew and he likes me. Despite being a well known flirt I do take this seriously. You like him too, right?"

When she received no reply Lulu sighed.

"I don't know why you have to make this so damn difficult. Just tell him and then you can decide what to do."

His eyebrow lifted at her suggestion. "Assuming you're correct--"

She rolled her eyes.

"--why would you tell me this? You said you're serious about him."

"Like a laser blast to the gut." The girl confirmed. "Where I'm from that's not a big deal. If he wants us both then I don't see a problem."

There were a lot of factors the girl wasn't taking into consideration. Lulu didn't understand the connection between the two Jedi and she never truly would. Anakin had become a better person in this life but he wasn't perfect. There was a chance he'd lose Alecew if he confessed the feelings he was only now realizing. Assuming the teen accepted this compromise Lulu was suggesting didn't mean it would work. Anakin had been a jealous man in his previous life and the mere thought of Obi-Wan being with his wife had fueled his fury. Looking back he supposed it was the concept of them betraying his trust rather than the act but he didn't know if he should test that theory.

Little does he know everything he thought he knew would soon be put to a test.

Later on that night against his better judgement Anakin agrees to "mingle" at some idiotic party Lulu drags them into. He's not the most social person these days and his memories aren't a blessing as they do nothing but make him feel old. Alecew dances with Lulu with the same grace he possessed on the battlefield. A few drinks help Anakin take the tension out and once the duo rejoin his booth none of them can stop talking. Drinks are passed and the shy touched between the two grow bolder. Within half an hour their making out in front of him. Perhaps the alcohol dulls his sense too much because Anakin doesn't feel s pang of jealous. Desire shoots through him instead as he watches the couple embrace.

Lulu kisses just the way Alecew likes and the sounds they emit have his pulse racing. The two break with Alecew laughing in a way that will always register as "Obi-Wan's laugh" in his mind. Sharp eyes find Anakin's as a too giggly Lulu suggests they all dance.

"Come on, are you too old?" Her voice teased.

Before he can answer Alecew snickered. "Oh he's positively ancient!"

"Techically so are you." Anakin shoots back but nevertheless finds himself following them to the dance floor.

Their all a little drunk and in the back of his mind Anakin thinks there's something he should remember about drinking ages. Not that it mattered, this century had different rules. Swaying to the beat Anakin forgets how long it's been since he's had a fully functional body. Sometimes he forgets he's not trapped in a self made hell. All he can think of in the strobe flashes is how gorgeous Alecew looks, even with Lulu plastered to his side. He looks so happy and any semblance of rational thought vanishes. Lost to the rhythm Anakin places his hands on Alecew's hips, his state makes the connection between them feel even more magical. If they weren't all intoxicated Alecew wouldn't be so public with his affections, Lulu wouldn't be so giggly and he wouldn't allow his emotions to be so apparent.

The three of them dance so close it feels like their sharing the same breath. The slight of Alecew's head being turned feels like the most erotic sight he's ever seen. Lulu tugs at his hair without being as aggressive as the other girls yet still having an air of dominance. The pale exposed throat swallowed hard before she sealed their mouths together. The instant their lips seperate Anakin takes his turn. The sweet taste from whatever drink Alecew had floods his senses as he took his time deepening the kiss. Somehow they need up taking turns plundering that tempting mouth in between Alecew's gasps for breath. Somehow they manage to get back to their table while neither of them removing their hands.

"I-I think, well it's hard to think." Alecew laughed. "But I think this isn't proper behavior."

"That's why it's fun." Lulu cackled leaning heavily against him.

"You don't always have to be so proper." Anakin added titling his chin up to stare at the glazed eyes again. In the back of his mind he knew this was wrong, he should end it before things went too far. Looking away from the tempting sight before him a sigh escaped his lips. "...Though you may have a point this time. Come on, it's time we went home."

It was much harder getting to the ship in their state and harder still to get Lulu into her room. Standing at Alecew's door Anakin couldn't help threading his fingers through his friend's hair.

"That was fun. Did we always have this much fun?"

"Not always but we had plenty of nights out enjoying each other's company." Just not in the same way.

"I like kissing now. Lulu makes me feels dizzy...in a good way." A dopey lovable smile spread across his face. "You're okay too I guess."

Leaning against the wall Anakin huffed, "You seemed to like it well enough."

"You taste like fruit and it felt..." Alecew tried to think of the word to describe what they shared. His face fell when he couldn't. "It's how you felt but I could feel it."

"You used to be so good with words." Anakin teased. "You're a pretty good kisser too."

"Thanks. Wait, why did we kiss?"

"It felt right at the time." Opening the door he waited until Alecew was in bed before going to his room. In the morning he was going to regret his actions.
