It just occurred to me that, if you take the AotC deleted scenes as canon, Luke and Leia actually have grandparents, an aunt, and two cousins on Naboo that they've never met, and aren't even aware exist.
Let's rectify that, shall we? Maybe Bail visits with Padme's family (as they were apparently close friends and colleagues in the Senate) and takes Leia with him; the Naberries can't help but notice how some of her mannerisms and personality quirks resemble their daughter.
Or perhaps after the battle of Endor, when the new republic is being formed, Mon Mothma and some of the other leaders hold a ceremony to honor the founders of the Rebellion and the original Petition of Two-Thousand. Padme's sister, Sola, and her daughters would be invited of course, and would run into Luke and Leia by accident - or perhaps not, if they've worked out who their mother was.
+ If this is worked into TFA era, and Kylo Ren meets/becomes romantically entangled with either Ryoo or Pooja (Padme's nieces) without knowing of their relation to him.
