Quinlan/Obi-wan, jedi!spies!

Like the big idiot he can be, Qui-Gon repudiates Obi-wan, taking Anakin as his Padawan.
The council refuses to lose Obi-wan, and seize this clusterfuck, trying to salvage something, giving Obi-wan to Master Tholme in secret.
A few days after, Qui-Gon finally asks where Obi-wan is.

Everybody tells him Obi-wan left the order, and the bond is broken. He does his best for Anakin but he's never the same, thinking his pride was Obi-wan 's end.

Years later, in the clone wars, Anakin and Qui-Gon are saved by to Jedi, working behind the ennemy lines.

Obi-wan and Quinlan, shadow jedi, lovers, with so much lies and multiples identies they have difficulties telling the truth....

Is it too late for Qui-Gon and Obi-wan, or can they salvage their friendship? Perhaps even the more familial bond they had, before Qui-Gon made this mistake? And can he even accept the man his Padawan has become ?
