would you mind switching the journal style to Neutral Good for Practicality or something similar? This homepage looks nice, but Neutral Good is a much better layout for viewing comments IMO, and used by the majority of kinkmemes I've seen for that reason.

Damn, that didn't do the thing I was expecting. How do people do the thing that kink memes are??? It's like somehow they've turned on site style for the entries but not the main page?

I'm really sorry about taking so long to change the layout. I've been busy with Holiday Family Crap.

I would recommend creating a collection over at AO3. I've noticed that a few fills have been posted over there (and have also posted one there myself), so it would be nice to have a way to put all of the fills that get posted there in one little place.

Or, if you don't have time, I would be glad to create it if need be. :) Just let me know.

With the Pinboard account I would suggest that the tags be expanded to include other searchable methods such as pairings, kinks, etc. That way people can get to the kinds of prompts they're looking for.

Or you may already be planning to do that and just haven't had time to get to it yet. :blush:

I'd second this - tags for pairings and maybe individual characters would be really useful. But stuff like that takes a while, so don't worry about getting to it straight away :)

Lol, well as two people suggested it, and we are a tiny slow burning kink meme I think I will end up doing it. TBH i was just burnt out on pinboard when i responded to this. i took a break so now i'm pretty okay with it.

Is the 'Filled Prompts Master Post' for completed fills, or all fills, including works in progress? I noticed that a fill I'm writing is up there, but I havn't completed it yet.

That sounds great, if it isn't too much trouble. The story I'm working on is for the prompt "Han/Luke, Luke/OC, initial heartbreak, fake relationship-turned-real".

Sorry so much time has passed between my last comment and this one! I'll get to that tonight, granted, if you haven't finished it. I'll be sure to check.

I decided on a compromise to indicate that all the links to fills could be incomplete, because it is easier on me. I'm sorry for letting this go and not dealing with it earlier, anon. And I hope you're okay with my decision to post links to fills although they're not complete. In the future, if you would like me to NOT post your fill until it's complete, make a note of it in part 1 of your fic.

I don't mind the wait. It must be hard to moderate one of these memes and still have time for real-life! And yeah, I kinda figured it would be hard to indicate which individual stories are WIPs. Thanks for doing this!

I just saw and responded to the chat party note on the main post. I don't actually know how long the note's been there, though, because I rarely think to look at the main post content, I just read the comments in flat view. And I'm probably not the only one who does so, or who tracks the comments but doesn't think to check the main post.

Because of that, it might be a good idea for you to leave an official mod announcement comment on the main post letting people know about the chat and asking them to use the link to give their potential times. And then, once it's arranged, you could leave another comment to tell people when it's happening. And finally, a reminder comment on the day. We'll need a lot of prodding to remember! XD

You can always delete those comments later, if you're concerned about keeping the meme tidy. And you could also add a link to this post to your comments (or even start a specific thread for the chat here and link to that) so people have a place to talk about the chat without going off-topic on the prompt post. :)

We're on page 40 and I think it would be a good time for a prompt freeze.

Is it perhaps time to put a stop to this thread? It might be a good idea to just end the thread as is, it seems to be dead as far as the fills are concerned, prompts are still coming in, but that's about it.

Maybe it's time to just start another thread, with challenges, themes and prompt limits or something of the like?

I've been wondering that too. Are we going to be moving to a second prompt post soon? This isn't to urge the mod, I'm just curious. If we are, maybe we should have a brief prompt freeze so people can work on their fills before the new post starts.
