I'm kind of gutted they cast Billie Lourd as Lt Connix for TFA, because I would have loved a movie with her as Leia that focused on her adventures in the lead up to ANH. The resemblance between her and Carrie is uncanny (for obvious reasons) and while Scream Queens was kind of a mess, she was always really watchable and charismatic, despite playing a catty sociopath.
