Why do you flat meme?

Hey all flat memers! I find flat view very confusing and annoying, and so I'd like some insight into why some people use/prefer it. I've heard something about needing to use it for screenreaders, but what about otherwise? What are your personal opinions on it?

I use flat view so I don't miss discussions or fills on prompts from several pages back. On a meme like this where people use subject lines,it's easy to figure out which comment belongs to which thread. The alternative would be constantly going back to check all the older pages, or only seeing new prompts and not following discussions at all. Either of which are fine, but I prefer to follow everything, chatter is part of a meme's personality for me. If flat view doesn't work for you, it's no big deal, just do what makes you feel most comfortable :)

Yeah, I can see how it may be easier to follow discussions. I usually just bookmark what I want to keep track of, but I do sometimes forget to check! Thanks for the insight!
