You certainly did not fuck up the consent issues, you make us very aware that they are there. And Kylo really cannot consent, because he is in deep heat and would die if he would not mate. That does not mean it is right, to sleep with him. He certainly does not want it. Heat - is a terrible thing, when you think about it. For the alpha and even more so for the omega.

Oh you did not make me sound like I wanted the trope. ;). Not at all. To be honest, I did not thought of any of the skin colors or race when writing that prompt. Just about the characters and how they would fit in in this situation. And it is good that you do not want to write racist tropes! VERY GOOD!

I like the small line Kylo walks between panic and pleasure here. Absolutely love it! Although I would also love to see when the panic wins and what the other characters would do! I also think that a knot is something which is not entirely pleasurable or pleasurable at all. I don't know. Alone the idea that it swells up and then two people are unable to separate, does not seem to be the best experience someone can have. I do think it would be painful.

OHHH YOU ARE THE AUTHOR OF FORK IN THE ROAD? Like really? I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH and I admire you so much! and god, now you're filling my prompt. What I great honor! I followed the fork in the road since nearly the beginning and I could not stop from commenting! I just love this story so much ;3!!! And it brings me great joy to hear that you will continue it!

Again - thank you for thinking I didn't fuck up the consent issues. You have no idea how much of a worry they are. For me, heats change terribleness depending on what best fits the fic (so normally they suck because I have fetishes that need fulfilling). Here though, damn. Here they are not nice things at all (especially for poor Ren and his near continuous suppressant usage).

Yeah, I get it. I'm guilty of it sometimes as well. it's something I've had to teach myself to be constantly aware of. Some fetishes are totally fine when dealing with white characters, but with POC characters they inch too close to racist stereotypes and it's just one of those things you gotta' be aware of.

I'm glad you like the line I'm balancing between. Don't tempt me to write what'd happen if panic won because I will & I already have enough on my plate as is. Yeah, I would write 1000s of words on theories about knots + how they'd feel depending on how receptive the omega was but I won't because I'm time poor enough as is.

I'm glad you have enjoyed it so much (never feel bad for being unable to reframe from commenting - us authors could survive off them I swear). At least now I feel slightly less guilty for putting this on the backburner to get the next chapter of FinR out now I know you're waiting on it continuing as well (I wish I didn't have to pick between the two of them, but I guess that's what happens when you're time poor like me).

I love the fork, really! You deserve all the praise and more - no need to blush! You deserve every compliment bc the fic is wonderful! I am not an mpreg fan but I love this fic - because it has such a fantastic characterization of ren and every one of the the other characters and I love the plot and your prose. It's just so fantastic! No need to feel guilty to post for FinR first. ;)!

So instead of editing the next section like I told myself I would I instead wrote the "Kylo Ren actually panics" idea you gave me. I'll post it at the end of this as a bonus.
