Announcement: I have long neglected my modly duties, because I have been both way busier than I thought I would be (the shock of young adulthood amirite?), and y'know just me being a mess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Yep.

Darth Maul is a little bit preoccupied by the fact that he can sense that his mate (who are rare to find for his species considering that their mate can be anyone in the galaxy) is near on Tatooine.

On Naboo, he sees Obi-Wan and instead of trying to kill Qui Gon he simply knock him unconscious and then kidnap Obi-Wan so he can explain to him that they're supposed to be together.

It's considered a crime to force your mate -who is supposed to be your everything and that you're supposed to cherish- so Obi-Wan has a choice : either he rejects Darth Maul (who will probably be depressed but won't die or anything) or he accepts to try and Darth Maul will immediately come with him and do what he wants ...

Of course Obi-Wan decide that it's a good idea to have a Sith under control so he accepts ... and of course, he eventually fall for the Sith (to the disapproval of Qui-Gon but Yoda saw that coming from miles away)

I love this prompt!

Dammit... I ship it. I didn't need another ship, but I'm a massive sucker for slow burns. I'd write it if I felt more comfortable in these two. Until then, I'ma keep my fingers crossed and hope.
