I just want Force ghosts Anakin and Obi-Wan hanging out with tiny!Ben, kind of like Calvin and Hobbes or Timmy Turner and his Fairly Oddparents, and Ben asks outright if they are secret ghost boyfriends, it's okay, they can be honest, he won't tell anyone. Because it's Anakin and Obi-Wan...being Anakin and Obi-Wan. Up to anon if they are or not.

SECRET GHOST BOYFRIENDS I'M DYING

I can see Ben telling Han about them but Han thinks they are his imaginary friends named after the people Uncle Luke tells stories about. And maybe Ghost Obi-Wan and Ghost Anakin never show up when Leia is around because Anakin doesn't know what to say to his daughter?

OP here. Yes, absolutely! Luke would believe him, but he's often busy setting up the New Jedi Order, and the ghosts believe in letting him do his own thing, because that has a history of working out.

I forgot to put this, but Anakin and Obi-Wan don't put up with Snoke's bullshit, because this is a happy prompt, dammit.

Ben had seen them as they appeared now in old records his mom and Uncle Luke had. (His mom didn't have as much information on grandpa.) At one point he had seen them as old men but now they were young again. Uncle Luke said something about the force flowing that Ben hadn't understood but regardless they were younger. Rarely Master Yoda would be with them but he suspected the small Jedi master didn't have patience for his interactions with grandpa and Obi-Wan. He had once sighed and bemoaned being stuck with them for all of time.

Whenever the two Jedi spirits were with him (or three when Yoda did visit) Ben was happy because they kept the bad man away. When they weren't around Uncle Luke would protect him from the voices that had started to invade his mind. Ben had seen them in old holos that had been hidden during the days of the empire bantering. It reminded him of the way mom and dad joked around.

When grandpa went kriffing crazy (dads' words) Obi-Wan had made sure uncle Luke and his mom were taken care of. In fact Ben was named after Obi-Wans' nickname, something that was only done in honor of family members where his mom grew up.

"Are you my ghost grandpa's secret boyfriend?" Ben had asked out of the blue one day while he played with his model X-Wing.

The two spirits had been bickering (not like C3P0 and R2 did, there was no swearing) when his question silenced them. Grandpa stared at him in alarm while Obi-Wan titled his head as if he wasn't sure he heard right.

"I promise I won't tell if you are." Dad used to tell uncle Lando that friends kept each other's secrets so family definitely did.

"What makes you ask that?" Obi-Wan inquired looking curious and slightly amused.

"You both argue like mom and dad only nicer." There was no name calling like the nerd herder comment from mom. "Uncle Lando calls it flirting when they do it."

Obi-Wan smiled but grandpa continued to silently stare at Ben.

"You looked after the family when grandpa couldn't and I'm named after you!" Ben beamed certain his detecting skills had already proven the case.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you but we were never boyfriends in life."

Ben pouted. He liked Obi-Wan and wanted grandpa to be happy. When it was just grandpa and Ben he always seemed sad.

"But you are now right?" Ben looked to his grandpa hoping for confirmation from him.

Blinking himself out of his daze Anakins' mouth lifted into a soft smile. "If he'd have me I'd let him be my boyfriend."

"Oh, would you?" There was more sarcasm in Obi-Wans' voice but there was something else Ben couldn't understand. "How considerate. I'll have to give the matter some thought."

"Please? You could be my grandpa too!"

"If I was your grandfathers' boyfriend that wouldn't make me your grandpa, Ben. I'd still be Obi-Wan." The bearded Jedi pointed out.

"You just don't want to be called grandpa." Anakin muttered.

"Well it isn't accurate. You are the grandpa, Anakin." Amusement laced Obi-Wans' words and Ben got the impression the Jedi master was poking fun.

"Then you can get married!" Inspiration had struck and he was sure uncle Luke would find a way to do it.

"What?" Grandpa asked while Obi-Wan stifled what sounded like a laugh behind his hand.

"You're already living in sin." Ben pointed out. He had heard dad tell uncle Lando that once when they were talking about a lady living with him.

This time Obi-Wan couldn't contain his laughter and Anakin even chuckled a little.

"It's not funny! You should marry before you knock grandpa up!" Again another phrasing he had heard around dad and uncle Lando.

The spirits merriment continued and Ben would have been mad if he hadn't seen the way they had grinned at each other.

"We're sorry for laughing, Ben. That's just not how things are between us. Although I promise that if I ever knock Anakin up I will marry him right away to ensure he remains an honest man."

"You better." Anakin responded with a nod of agreement towards Ben.

"Do you love each other?" Some people mom knew married that weren't in love for "political reasons" and they were never happy.

The two men looked at each other, several emotions filtering over their faces.

"Yes." Anakin answered voice choking with emotion. "Always."

Obi-Wan nodded. "Yes. Of course." He said as if it shouldn't have been questioned.

Mom and dad never believed him when Ben told them about seeing the spirits. Uncle Luke did and he laughed when Ben asked him what it would mean if Obi-Wan knocked grandpa up.

"It would mean you'd have a little aunt or uncle. But don't get too excited, Ben." He warned at his nephews' excited expression. "It doesn't work like that with human men much less spirits within the force."

"Why not? Grandpa didn't have a dad. The force can do the impossible."

Luke found himself nodding,"Yes. I suppose it can."

Now I kind of want to see Force spirit mpreg...or at least the confounded adults and the happy Ben who has been waiting for his little aunt/uncle to be conceived/born.
